I rarely use the purple stronggrip mats however unless i m cutting some really thick material.
If there is a lot of detail in your image or if you are using a super cute script font cursive it will only cut correctly when sized properly.
A sticky mat can make all the difference.
Preparation with cricut transfer tape.
And in fact i prefer the green mats over the blue mats.
Green mats are my friend.
Place a blank sheet of 12 by 12 white paper on your cricut imagine mat and insert the mat above the exposed rollers at the label insert mat here.
Place vinyl liner side down onto cricut standardgrip mat.
Press flashing go button.
When cutting adhesive vinyl or heat transfer vinyl a kiss cut is used to cut the vinyl but leave the carrier sheet or backing intact.
Gently insert the mat until you feel it hit the back of the print rollers.
Refer to kiss cut guide below to adjust machine settings.
If you ve just replaced your blade and are having this problem you probably have the wrong blade.
Press the start calibration button.
Select images and size and load the mat into the machine.
Press the next button.
Change or increase the size of the font if using one.
Get sticky for success.
Remove the negative pieces from each of the images leaving the clear.
Realistically there may just be images that are too small or intricate to cut.
