However due to an ongoing lack of adequate storage space we ask that donors refrain from donating any oversized items including large furniture and exercise equipment thank you for your patience as we continue to manage the large volume of goods donated by our generous community. Unfortunately the list of items that goodwill cannot currently accept does include mattresses and box springs. Waterbeds or waterbed frames. Vehicles we are now accepting donations of vehicles in all conditions. These items may also be the perfect place for bugs germs and other pests to hide either in transport or at goodwill facilities.

This includes waterbed mattresses and waterbed frames as well as traditional innerspring and foam mattress sets. However mattresses and box springs take up a ton of space. We depend on the sale of these items to support our programs and services. In many areas trash collectors will not take away used bedding either.

Goodwill does not sell household units in the stores due to state laws requiring them to be sanitized. All of our stores take gently used items in good condition. We are unable to do home pick ups.

Commercial sanitized sets are sold in goodwill stores when available. Goodwill happily accepts the following new or gently used items. Donations should be clean and safe.
